Discovering Your Uniquely God Given SHAPE

Podcast: Play in new window | Download

I encourage you to begin to serve God through at least one or two ministry areas of First Baptist Church of Emerson. For obedient Christians, refusal to serve is not an option. You need to be serving. You were created by God for service. Continually taking without giving back will make you spiritually sick. You also need to serve because your service is needed. We need committed and trained servants. Remember, bench warming is not a spiritual gift.  So, I ask you to join the rest of us by getting on the field and joining in the battle. If you have a heart to serve I will find you a place where you may serve. Willingness truly is the key to God’s service. Your willingness to serve will release many blessings in your life.

We talked about the Shape packet in small group yesterday, along with discovering our Spiritual Gifts. I would like to do the SHAPE packet again. The first time I did it was when you first brought it out, and I don’t even remember how I did on my shape. Thats a clear sign that I need to do it again.
